What are the best and worst things about your job?
Well I'm a student, and I have to say that school isn't half as bad as people make it out to be! Now I do agree there are some pretty dumb and boring classes out there that even I don't like. For example, I took a PAP Biology class this year and the teacher was absolutely horrendous!!! Now I didn't hate her, but I didn't agree with what she taught and said. At the beginning of class she told us that if any one of us brought up religion we would be in trouble, but everyday we had discussions and a lot of them were about scientific politics, and evolution. And when we really got into the juicy conversations of evolution she would always say that there was no scientific proof for God, and she said that evolution was the only thing that had been scientifically proven. The sad thing about it was that some kids in my class who proclaimed that they were Christians actually started to agree with things that she was saying. Needless to say it was very saddening to see that she was leading my peers and herself down into a world of hurt. But as I said before being a student isn't always that bad. I remember talking to a lot of my Christian teachers and they were always comforting and it was a real joy to talk to them. Also high school has provided me with an enormous oppurtunity to share my testimony and the testimony of our Lord and Savior!!! So I thank God for the "ups" because they help keep me encouraged and moving along through the day, and I also thank Him for the "downs" because those are the moments of my life that really humble me and show me what God has planned for me!!!
I just answered this Featured Question, you can answer it too!

Andrew, I have to disagree with your previous statement, you are a good little blogger and I think you can count yourself among the people who can "paint a picture with words". It makes me happy to hear of your strong faith, continue to trust Him, the Lord is going to take your life to amazing places. Love you!
:D It's so cool that we students can use our daily environment to possibly permanently influence someone's life. When I took Biology in my freshman year of high school, I was kind of quiet and I was a new Christian, so I had a hard time speaking up for my beliefs then. I wish I had made more of a difference then, but it's okay because now I can initiate discussion left and right and the people I talk to aren't the only one's learning! It helps my faith so much when I can discuss it with others, even defend myself against others.
Well thaks Jen I do aim to please you know!!!
thanks so much for responding back to my blog so quickly! Honestly, I know what you mean 'bout high school and the "ups" and also the "downs." Seriously, you are right that all the ups have kept you in times of downs but also that God has enlightened you in retrospect that you won't feel as if it wasn't a good experience.
God has caused believes to grow in many ways science has seen it as impossible. But if they want to believe in that way instead of God's amazing and powerful ways, we can only pray for them to change. No matter what they say, His promises are true and his miracles are true.
Bless you, man!
I think it is REAL IMPORTANT for Christians to be in public schools. If we just hide with other Christians, how can we have an impact? You are planting seeds in your school and God will use them!
